One week every year in Krapina at the end of summer is dedicated to Kaikavian culture - this year from 3. to 11.9.2016.
It is a great occasion to visit this small, almost Alpine city north of Zagreb, and to take a walk on its streets and on the narrow trails around Krapina. Neanderthal Museum is located near Krapina too.
The 7-days lasting program includes many concerts, manifestations, celebration and exhibitions. There is a detailed program in Croatian in the link above.
Also a scientific symposium is held called Kaikavian language, literature and culture through centuries, on Monday.
